Do you understand how dehumidifiers work? The recommended ambient operating temperature is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). Warm and humid air enters the Shinco home dehumidifier through the back grill, passes over the cold coil to condense water out of the air. The water collects in the pipes and drips down into the bucket for removal later. The dry air is then reheated by the compressor and blown out of the unit back into the room.

Before using

• Ensure the dehumidifier stands upright for 24 hours before plugging it in
• Clean the bucket with potable water every two weeks to prevent bacterial growth
• Clean the air filter with water at least once every 30 days to maintain efficiency
• Store the dehumidifier in a dry, well-ventilated place after cleaning
